- Push dried Chamomile flowers in a clean quart-size jar
- Pour boiling water over flowers to just cover them, stir slightly
- Fill the rest of the jar with vodka and seal
- Store in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks and shake daily
- After 4-6 weeks, pour through a strainer pushing out as much of the herb as you can. Store in a tincture dark bottle with dropper. ( I love these bottles easy to label and easy to use for measuring.)
- This will keep for up to 2 years.

Colds, Flu, Cleaning…Again these are just ones we use all the time, some every day! If you suffer from congestion or sinus the peppermint and eucalyptus are really a must-have! I put them in steam water and breath in with a towel over my head and it takes the pressure away RIGHT AWAY! Great for any cold that is coming on! So amazing!

Natural Dishwasher Soap CapsulesIngredients (using no Borax) :
- 2 cups Arm and Hammer washing soda
- 1 cup Arm and Hammer baking soda
- 1 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/4 water
- 1 teaspoon Castile soap
- 15-20 favorite essential oil
- silicone trays
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl
- Gradually add vinegar little bit at a time and mix well (some fizzing will occur and the mixture will start to clump) You may not need the entire amount of vinegar, add it a little at a time.
- Mix in castile soap and lemon essential oil
- Pack well into two ice cube trays (take your time doing this and make sure they are well compacted)
- Set ice cube trays or your silicone one out to dry for at least 24 hours in a sunny spot
- Take tabs out of trays and store in a tight-lidded container
During the summer months, we face many bugs! I get stung at least once if not more. Mosquitos are our state bird, and of course, the spider bits are no fun. So I found this ointment to be absolutely, hands down the best thing to put on those nasty bites! Messy but worth itIt is a bit messy as it is made from activated charcoal which is black. But if you put a bandage over it for a bit, it won’t get on your clothes. It washes off easily too. When I got stung, I literally applied this on immediately and the pain was gone, no swelling, and I was back to chores. Great for kids and pets too! I even put it on our horses for those nasty horse fly bits that swell!

Thank you! www.truenorthranch.org6 tbsp of infused oil (I use Calendula see infusion directions below) 2 tsp almond oil 2 tsp beeswax 3 tsp activated charcoal 3 tsp bentonite clay 20-30 drops Lavender essential oil 10 drops of tea tree essential oil Combine the olive oil, castor oil, and beeswax in a container and place in a pot of simmering water (like a double boiler). It is recommended that you use a container that you don’t mind getting stained, as the charcoal has a tendency to stain. Once the waxes and oils are combined, add the charcoal and clay and mix until combined. Mix in the essential oil and then transfer to a glass jar for storage. This recipe makes enough to fill a one-ounce mason jar. Store the salve in a cool dark place. To use the salve, just put a small amount on the affected area. Cover with a bandage (to help avoid staining your clothes and other things) and leave on for up to 12 hours. The wash off with soap and water. You can wash off as soon as the pain subsides. I have used this for poison ivy as well. It works. The important part is reapplying if itchiness still exists.
