Everything Cherry!

I just love making cards on rainy days! Playing with this set with the cherries and other fruit just makes it seem a little brighter! I started to make a file of cards for those birthday’s and anniversary that seem to pop up on my calendar unexpected that I can grab quickly. Whenever there is time in a day, I will make multiple cards to fill up that file. There is nothing like having a homemade card ready to go when life is busy! I love this set from Stampin’ Up! my ol’ stompin’ grounds from long ago. It is a little time consuming due to all the layers but LAYERS is what makes a card!  The more layers to each item is what makes it all POP! The ribbon is also one of those things I must put on a card. YES, it costs more to send…but so worth it in the end. I hope as more rainy days come, I can get more to show you all! Enjoy! Supplies you will need: Tart and Tangy Set (any fun set will work that you have)

Real Red ink  Real Red Marker Wasabi Ink Only Orange Ink Wasabi Marker Ribbon Scallop Punch 1 1/4 circle punch 1 3/4 circle punch Real Red and Bliss Blue Card stock Glossy White Using markers for the berries so you can get the 2 tone colors, make sure to huff on your stamp before stamping. This makes the marker remoisten before you stamp. I used glossy white to help make it all be more brighter, but you do need to wait to allow to dry before using your punch. I also added aw white gel pen to the scallop flower to also add a little more color.  It really is all about the layer without it becoming gaudy.  Use part of the circle punch to the corners of the layer to get the curve look. Again, bringing out the layer color. You will need to add a little more postage to this card if your sending it in the mail, but isn’t it just worth it? Remember any colors and stamps you have will make the card your own! The style is what helps in the creative process! Enjoy crafting! Love deeper, talk sweeter today, Lee
