All Natural Goodness Doggy Treats
I just love making my own natural dog treats! And guess what? So does our dog! They are not only good for him, but I get to add my own touches with ingredients he loves! You can too! These recipes are easy to add other ingredients like cheese is a one I hear many have done. I would love to hear what you created so please comment below. Directions for all the treats are below and the doggy paws and bones from Amazon just are TOO cute! Makes a great gift too!DOGGY TREATS Peanut Butter Paws: 2 Cup of Organic Oats ½ Cup of flour ¼ Cup Flax Seed 1 tsp baking powder 1 cup of Natural Peanut Butter t tbsp honey 1 Egg 1 Cup of water Smokey Bones: 1 cup of Wheat flour (Use regular flour if your pup is sensitive to wheat) 1 Cup of Organic Oats ½ Cup regular flour (or more wheat) ½ tsp of sea salt (optional) ¼ tsp Liquid Smoke 1 egg ½ Cup hot water may need to add more to bind Healthy Pumpkin Treats: ½ cup canned pumpkin 4 tbsp molasses ( I use honey) 4 tbsp coconut oil 2 Cups flour (use oats if your pup is sensitive) ¼ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon Directions for all recipes: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix wet ingredients together in a bowl
- Add the dry ingredients and mix well until combined
- Scoop out small spoonfuls and form into balls or put into cute doggy cookie makers
- Bake for 25-30 minutes
- After they cool, I place my treats in a gallon size mason jar. Make SURE they are cool, if they are too moist they will mold quickly. I keep some in the freezer and take out enough for just a few days allowing them to thaw. The treats last months when frozen.
