Horse’s and girls…

During our Midwest Bounty event, we had some down time and one of the ranches brought a box of cards one of their supporters made. I went absolutely NUTS when I saw these cards! Not just because of the horses and little girls but because the words are perfect for what we do in ranch ministry! Oh I just love them! Here are a few I made.

I love using wood slivers my husband keeps for me from projects.

Watercolor, Chalks, Blending Pens

The sets are expensive and they are for acrylic blocks. They don’t have the image for you to see and can be a little frustrating especially for the words. But the words really make these interchangeable.

Here is the Link for the company. Happy shopping and fun playing with this great group of stamps!
For a simple video on watercolor even in your bible look below.

Gotta love being creative and best part…GIVING THEM TO SOMEONE IN NEED!

God’s blessings,

Tea is sure my thing

There is no doubt I love tea! I love making my own blends to preparing specific teas for illness and building immune systems. I love anything tea!

Tea cups, tea blends, herbs, and yes even making tea cup cards!

Comment below get free pattern

If you make a comment below and want the pattern, I can email it to you. Of course, free of charge! We are all about that around our ranch ministry. When you click and purchase from any link, you are helping us reach kids in need of hope and healing!

What you will need

Pattern background paper preferably prints on both sides. Here are my favorites for this project.
Anna Griffin Collection
Bo Bunny
Doodlebug Collection (love this one for lots of stamping and gift ideas)
Tag Die Cut (use your background paper to match)
Washi Tape
Washi Tape (for planners too)
Bling of course!

Add the tag either tape or let hang while wrapping around handle.

Great Greetings

Now you have an adorable card to give to a loved one or attach to a gift. I make up a tea blend and put inside a little bag.
I also will add a verse to the tag for extra encouragement.

A side note if you are making your own blends, put the herbs on the tag or somewhere on your card. This will help your receiver know what’s in it just in case they can not have a certain herb.

Enjoy making your little tea cup greetings! They are adorable!

Crafts, Paper/Cards
Don’t you just love receiving a homemade thank you card? Especially one you didn’t expect to receive?  I DO! BUT most of all…I love making them! This last week I had to get on the horn and make some long overdue thank you cards and of course, I have to make it a little country, a little ranch like, and touches of the season. These cards are using mostly background papers that I find online HERE There are so many background papers to choose from you can really go crazy! I do like to buy them in big bulk packages as they provide more for my money. Plus, the variety in that one pack is huge and sparks some creativity! So…here is the scoop on how I put these together: I made up a template for the jean pocket and used my favorite vintage card stock for the tags. I made my own tags but you can also purchase them already done too. Of course, enjoying the ranch life we have to have cowboy type background paper. Using inks from Stamping’ Up! and thank you stamps, I added distressing color to the outside of the card and directly on the card. This gives the old-time look. (when you purchase from SU! you really get the BEST of inks and card stock, my personal preference) The ink I used was More Mustard. Finally, I give the card an overall look by stitching around the edges from my sewing machine. I didn’t do this to all of them, but looking at it, I like it better. It added a ton to the overall look. Hope you find making special thank you cards to your loved ones and friends, brings them joy as well as knowing how much you care for them. Making homemade cards is truly a great gift you can give to anyone! Spark someone you love today with a homemade thank you card! Enjoy! Love deeper, talk sweeter, Lee

Ministry, Paper/Cards
Ever feel just overwhelmed with gratitude?  Try making something special by hand to give to someone who you want to express thankfulness! I sure have this month as I have been making up some of the cards to send out to the supporters that give to our ministry on a monthly bases. We are always grateful for people who have come along and shouldered with us. We love to hand stamp as many as we can.  In a pinch, I will make up some photo shot cards for the kids that come to the ranch to use as a demo card. It helps for them to get an idea of how to use the sets and gadgets. There is nothing more meaningful than to make a hand stamped card. I used Stampin’ Up’s new set from the fall last year, 2016, and the Paisley Framelits Dies. (on sale too) LOVE those things! Just stamp and put the platelet over the stamped image, roll in my BIG SHOT and whoa…quick and perfect images without the hassle of cutting them out by hand! The background pine cones are from the folder emboss the image and using the simmering white just adds a little touch of sparkle. Enjoy making an adorable card and of course, add your layers! What you will need: Paisley Stamp set Paisley Framelits Dies (on sale) Cherry Cobbler Ink Cherry Cobbler Cardstock Pumpkin Pie Ink Pumpkin Pie Marker Old Olive Ink Old Olive Cardstock Shimmery White Cardstock Pinecone  Embossing Folder 3-d popups Tape Directions: Stamp and color each of the images you wish to use. Emboss your background onto your shimmery white and begin to layer. Use any wording stamp you like. Sure can be universal. Stamping makes me happy! Love deeper and Talk sweeter and enjoy crafting!
