Crafts, Ministry, Paper/Cards, Ranch Life

Homemade Valentines are not a thing of the past! These cute Valentines will make any receiver know without a shadow of a doubt they are loved. Being a ranch ministry it is something we love to share…LOVE with animals! PLUS…it’s below zero here in Minnesota…so what’s a girl to do but craft!

Each animal or gnome brings a smile just because of their huge tummies. I love how it makes it look like they are holding their tummies full of goodies! They may take you some time, but soooooo worth it!
Just change the colors to fit anytime of year giving.

Aren’t these just the cutest?

Material Needed for Barn Animals

How to:

Once you have cut out your image, put together how you would like. There is so much variety by adding background paper and ribbons to spice up your Valentine so play away. I used the extra pieces for the legs and paws and used double stick take to secure them to the ball.

After your image is glued together, decorate your ball background. I used the Cricut’s shape image circle and made it slightly larger than the ornament ball. If you use a dark circle for your backing you don’t have to decorate.

Hot glue around edge of your ball filled with candy. Place your circle backing on to secure. You may need. to add more glue to make sure it is fully enclosed.

To secure the ball to the front of image I used a piece of velcro so the image can be reused as a tag. (see below)

Or you can just hot glue it directly to your image.

Making the tag to fit easily behind the ball. I do show the recipient how they can use it and regift using the image as a gift tag.

Sucker for gift ideas…so…use them as gift tags!

Enjoy making the ones you love feel LOVED!

This holiday is so awesome! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love deeper, talk sweeter,
